Buddhist Temple and Thai Lunch 15 Oct 2015

About 30 people attended and all enjoyed the tour guide at the temple and the excellent lunch at The Thai Smile restaurant.

It was a big surprise for most people to learn that the main Budist temple has been in existence in Errington for about 20 years.  The new temple containing the massive “Golden Budda” is much more recent and is a project on going for about 3 years.  Attendees learned a lot about the history and precepts of the Buddist culture in Tibet and took part in a brief meditation study.

The lunch was a set feast of many different Thai dishes; well served and presented and always hot.
