Our year-end wind up event took place at the Qualicum Beach Lawn Bowling Club and 56 members attended. The cost of $35.00 p.p. included taxes, gratuities, entertainment and door prizes.
The theme was Spring in Mexico and the hall was extensively and elaborately decorated to suit.
Cocktails started at 5:30 p.m. with a special on Margaritas, followed by a Mexican style buffet dinner catered by Pacific Brimm. After dinner we were entertained by Debbie Ryan and her group with an excellent selection of music very well appreciated by the dancers. The dance floor was mainly full up to the end of the evening. The selection of novel Mexican costumes worn by most members and the challenging Mexican quiz added to the fun. The door prizes were well appreciated and it was altogether a fantastic evening!
