North Island Wildlife Recovery Centre Tour and Picnic, Thursday, May 26, 2016

A one and a half hour guided tour of the NIWRC has been arranged.  Start time is 10:30 a.m.  Cost is $10.00 p.p.  Following the tour we are planning on a picnic lunch.  Weather permitting, there is a covered gazebo and garden with picnic tables at the rear of the property.  If the weather is inclement, there are chairs and benches – but no tables – in two buildings.

The Centre has undergone many renovations in the past couple of years, so it will be interesting to see what the changes are all about.

Bring out your ‘wild’ side and come and support this wonderful facility that we have in our midst.  Pack a picnic lunch and linger for awhile in their garden.
